Summary
Freight-X is a National and International Freight Exchange and vehicles exchange for road haulage companies in 48 Eastern and Western European countries.
The main activity on this site is focused on return loads and freight across Eastern and Western Europe. The Freight-X system is available for use by any European members to post trucks or truck loads to and from anyone of the countries that the system will accommodate.

Freight-X is not only a International Freight Exchange it has been designed to serve as National Freight Exchange in all Eastern and Western European countries each country has its own portal for example: http://uk.freight-x.net and http://es.freight-x.net 

Every day we have load offers suitable for trucks, trailers and vans. Most load offers are for return loads / back loads but many members offer primary loads and offer work to other members to help them out during busy times.

Other offers may be for traction only or contract work and there are many posts for just in time courier service's. What ever your freight requirements be it a return load for a Curtain Side trailer in Liverpool a Flat trailer in Berlin or an urgent van load to France you will find help at Freight-X.

Our members consist of road haulage companies, freight forwarders, clearing houses, warehouse's, couriers, removal companies, manufactures and many more. The companies vary in size from large to small.

The one thing in common with all the members is that when a member posts a load or truck on the Freight-X system they are looking to do business in one way or another

Registering details and adding other users.
A registered company can add up to 10 additional users to their account from their company free of charge. A registered user has full access to the post forms, search forms and Dashboard admin area.

Posting your requirements are very important, it increases the possibility of finding vehicles or loads for you. Freight-X does not just rely on members searching for vehicles and loads, Freight-X has a built in matching system that constantly searches for matches and will notify you when they are found.

The post form is in two sections, the top part contains compulsory fields the second part is optional.
You can use the interactive maps to help select countries and regions.
Add loads and vehicles by using post code or town name
You can use our vehicle type selection list.
On vehicle posting you can select multiple regions, this may be all the regions in a country or just the ones you travel through or go near to. Whatever you have selected Freight-X will constantly try to match your vehicles to loads. The more regions you select the more matches can be found.

Searching for return loads and vehicles (Watch Searching for Loads Movie)
Searches are very versatile, searches can be made from any region to any region or a country wide search and all types of searches in between. Searches can be made if you have the post code, town name or region.
The search forms are split in to two sections, compulsory and optional.
When results are clicked on more information is available about the post and the member. The results can be emailed to you by selecting the check boxes and "email me" button. (Watch viewing results Movie)

Notification emails.
If you have a vehicle or load on the Freight-X system you will be notified automatically when a match is found and will continue doing so until the post expires or is deleted.
A Notification email is sent when, the date or date range, country, region & vehicle type match.
When you make a new post to the system you will receive 1 email informing you how many matches are available on the system.
Notification emails are also sent when post expire, you will be provided with a link to update the expired post and re-submit if required, this function cannot be disabled.

From the dashboard you can manage your accounts.
Delete or edit active posts.
Delete, edit or repost your expired archived posts.

Use the Match tool to check the system for matching loads or vehicles

Access to the HTML code. When correctly inserted into your own website displays your company Loads and Vehicles that are active on Freight-X.

Using Freight-X
To benefit most from Freight-X it is essential that you participate and follow the guide lines below.
Post your available vehicles and loads regularly. (daily recommended)
Increase the date range for regular and flexible journeys. Keep active posts up to date, delete when necessary. 
Do not disable the notification email system, they only contain information that you want.
When possible select multiple regions to give you a realistic approach to finding loads.
Select multiple vehicle types if applicable.
These guide lines will maximize the potential of matching loads and vehicles.

It is recommended when viewing the results of a search to use the Freight-X tools and menus to navigate to different pages and avoid using the browser back button.

This freight exchange is the ideal solution for return loads / back loads for trailers such as, curtain side, tautliners, box vans, refrigerated, reefer, flatbed, platform, timber carriers, container movements, tippers, bulkers, tankers, car transporters, crane trailers, removals and courier vans. Also ideal for heavy haulage as we include low loaders and step frames in the post and search forms.
